This article pertains to Xenogears: the sub-database of the Xenosaga Wiki.

At one point in Xenogears' development Maria Balthasar was meant to have an Omnigear just like the other main characters known as El Seibzehn. Unfortunately due to time and money constraints the portion of the game where Seibzehn aligned with an Anima Relic was cut out of the game and the Omnigear went with it. A concept sketch exists within the Xenogears Perfect Works which proves that it was an option intended to be implemented at one point in the game's development cycle. The sketch depicted El Seibzehn in the similar organic-like design scheme of its fellow Omnigears.
