Febronia

Febronia (aka Feb) was the Uzuki families' Realian and Shion's nanny. Feb is no longer a "living being" for she was killed 14 years ago at the treatment center Shion's Mother was at. Feb's sisters Cecily and Cathe were part of a machine keeping the Original Zohar in power, deep within the walls of Labyrinthos on Old Miltia. Febronia is also somehow related to the past of former Lieutentant and current Testament Virgil. The exact nature of their relationship is presently unknown, but some speculate that it was romantic in nature. This may have been a significant contributor to Virgil's DME Addiction, although the details of their past are indeed sketchy. Feb plays a large part in Xenosaga Episode I where she helps Shion confront her haunted past, and a bit of a lesser part in Episode II where she lures Shion to Old Miltia to "save" Cecily and Cathe. Nevertheless, her role is key to the destruction of the Patriarch; without her, Shion and her allies would not have made it to Miltia, and, ultimately, Proto Omega would have easily been unleashed on the galaxy.

While she is an important character in Episodes I & II, Febronia is conspiciously absent from the TV Asahi animated adaption of Episode I entitled Xenosaga: The Animation, save a half-second long cameo at Virgil's death. However, because of the significant deviation from the game's plotline, the plotline of the Animation series takes no precidence over that of the game series.
