Life Recycling Act

In T.C. 4590, around 200 year before the start of Episode 1, the Life Recycling Act was introduced, approved and implemented not even a year later, as a means to recycle the bodies of the dead. Those who had registered to be donors in life had their bodies recycled and turned into cyborgs. However, they were resurrected as weapons, with their human rights stripped from them. Also, "recycling" was interpreted as extending the effective utilization of genes, and the bill was seen as including human clones and genetic and cranial nerve modification.

The Life Recycling Act, however, was repealed 200 years later in T.C. 4754, when an increase in the number of mentally-imbalanced individuals became Federation government equipment. The Act was also repealed for two other reasons: one being that due to genetic modification, a large number of people became adapt to certain environments and the human race was becoming fragile biologically, and two, the victims of genetic modification were fighting over planets with environments that could support them, resulting in a large number of casualties.

  • Possibly the creepiest game I've ever pylaed. The ONLY other game I know that had such creepy factor was ES4 Oblivion. Diablo 2 + LOD simply had much less of it. I've pylaed TONS of games over the years, and Diablo still ranks (for me) as the creepiest ever. The dark atmosphere and tantalizing music remains unmatched to this very day. Those prerendered 2D graphics have a LEGENDARY feel to them. Honestly, I just DON'T find 3D graphics creepy at all.VA:F [1.9.13_1145]please wait...VA:F [1.9.13_1145](from 0 votes)
