Orgulla is an Ormus operative who appears during Xenosaga Episode II. She is classified as a machine, implying that she is an android like KOS-MOS. Orgulla appears to be a handmaiden or assassin working for the Ormus Patriarch, and has multiple personalities, ranging from her to be calm and collected to an angry and violent individual. Her normal battle form is Eryu, and her alternative form is Manes, likely a reference to Roman mythology. After the player proceeds to defeat her in the boss battle, she collapses and disappears and is never seen after that; therefore it is deductable that she died in the conflict.
The word orgullo is Spanish for "pride," a possible connection to Orgulla's haughty demeanor. With her battle cry of, "Disgusting impure flesh!" it seems that she holds a very extremist form of Gnostic dualism. She does not appear in Xenosaga I & III.
